The Whitelist Securities Addresses' is a feature that allows clients approved for security token trading on INX.One to add a new wallet address to their list of approved addresses.
This is useful for clients who want to be able to transfer security tokens to a new wallet, such as a cold wallet, a wallet that they have just created, or a wallet that they have not used for trading before.
To use the 'Whitelist Securities Addresses' feature, simply navigate to ‘Securities addresses’ under ‘Settings’, click on ‘Whitelist an address’, and provide the wallet address that you want to whitelist.
Since whitelisting is done on-chain, a fee is charged to help cover mining fees paid by INX for the whitelisting of your wallet. The fee will be deducted from your security tokens’ balance.
Once a wallet address has been whitelisted, clients will be able to transfer security tokens to that address with confidence, knowing that the transfer will be approved and processed easily. Read more about why whitelisting is necessary.
This feature allows clients to have greater control over their security token trading activities and ensures that their tokens are being transferred to safe and secure wallets.
